The Federal Highway Administration hosted five regional convenings across the United States between 2018 and 2020. These convenings focused on enhancing and expanding the network of nationally-designated alternative fuel corridors through meaningful engagement among stakeholders. These convenings encouraged multi-state and regional coordination for the development and implementation of alternative fueling infrastructure along corridors. The convenings fostered an important opportunity for states to evaluate the potential of shared infrastructure investments and improved collaboration for education/outreach efforts among and between the public and private sectors.
This report summarizes the presentations, discussions, and outcomes from the five regional convenings. The materials from the five convenings including the agenda, attendee list, handouts and materials, and ideas for continued alternative fuel corridor buildout are provided in a series of links in Appendix A of this report.
