Interim Approval for Optional Use of an Alternative Electric Vehicle Charging General Service Symbol Sign

This memorandum provides specifications for signage that directs road users to PEV charging facilities that are open to the public. FHWA grants interim approval for the signage to any jurisdiction that submits a written request to the Office of Transportation Operations.
