Maine DOT Technical Report – Experimental Biodiesel Trial in Heavy Fleet Vehicles

From July 2003 to April 2003, Maine DOT used a blend containing 20% of biodiesel fuel (B20) in several pieces of equipment in lieu of conventional diesel fuel. This study found biodiesel costs were 40 to 50 cents more per gallon than conventional diesel.
